Another Boston feast, another weekend filled with Italian tradition, community, and plenty of granita!
Caffe Alanno was excited to be part of the 2026 Fisherman’s Feast in Boston’s historic North End, bringing our handcrafted Sicilian granita to one of the neighborhood’s beloved Italian celebrations.
For Karen and Mike, events like the Fisherman’s Feast are especially meaningful. Caffe Alanno was inspired by their families’ Italian heritage, the traditions they grew up with, and a desire to share an authentic taste of Sicily with the communities around them.
Eight Granita Flavors to Choose From
We brought plenty of variety to the Fisherman’s Feast, with eight handcrafted granita flavors available throughout the event:
Lemon
Lime
Watermelon
Cantaloupe
Strawberry
Raspberry
Nectarine
Chocolate
From classic fruit flavors like lemon and watermelon to rich chocolate and refreshing nectarine, there was something for just about every taste.
Each Caffe Alanno granita is handmade in small batches, using simple ingredients and a process inspired by traditional Sicilian granita-making. It’s a refreshing taste of Italian tradition, and the perfect way to cool down during a summer feast in Boston.
Celebrating Our Italian Roots in the North End
There’s something particularly special about sharing Caffe Alanno in the North End.
Karen and Mike both grew up in Boston surrounded by Italian-American culture and family traditions. Mike remembers visiting the North End with his mother on weekly grocery trips, making the opportunity to return to the neighborhood years later with Caffe Alanno feel a little like coming full circle.
The Fisherman’s Feast gave us another opportunity to celebrate those roots while introducing more people to authentic Sicilian granita and the family story behind every scoop.
Thank You for Another Great Feast!
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Caffe Alanno stand during the 2026 Fisherman’s Feast. We loved being part of the celebration and sharing our granita with so many people in the heart of Boston’s North End.
And we’re not finished yet!
